Sheba’s been a very good friend of mine for over about 4 years. I don’t get the benefit of seeing her as much anymore because she and her boyfriend moved to Montana (a fact she knows I like to lovingly prod her about!). However, this last Thursday, she had some time to hang out during a short trip back to the east coast.

In addition to the tasty pizza and two other appetizers she tried to stuff me with (which admittedly did reheat well the next day) we did manage to sneak in some shots at a local park. I really wish we’d have had time to slow down the pace and even do some interior stuff, but in reality the 30 minutes of shooting was just a bonus.

There are a handful of people that make me feel comfortable being a social creature nowadays. Now if they weren’t so spread out geographically!

Meow (I couldn’t think of a better title)

Only getting around to 2 updates all of June kinda made me feel slackerish. So, I’m starting of July early. Katie and I shot these during her last visit. It was actually one night’s worth of shooting that was sort of impromptu. Granted, getting the minor accessories needed for the Orange set involved a little trip, everything else was rather a fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants session.

She’s really starting to come out of her shell and develop a command of her body and posing…yet is still maintaining the important facial expressiveness and charisma that many models seem to subconsciously eschew in lieu of a one-dimensional Blue Steel look.

We keep coming up with better stuff each time we shoot…so her return in mid July will be total fun! In the meantime…
